Cascade

This is a favorite coffee drinking place of mine. It’s not hard to get to. It’s maybe a 5-minute walk from where I like to park. The short walk takes me through a peaceful section of forest that deer and Black Bears call home. If I time my visit for mid-autumn or later, I almost always have this place to myself (I can get selfish that way. Especially when it comes to fragile environments like this.)

I made this photograph as the first warm rays of morning light reached the bottom of the cascade.
