Yosemite Valley - Peaceful Pause

I was out wandering along a section of the Merced River that I had not yet explored. It was mid-afternoon and time to get out from under the burden of my 25 pound camera pack. I found a nice shady spot under a welcoming Ponderosa pine just a few feet from the placidly flowing Merced River. Content with my solitude and the cheerful song of a unseen nearby bird. This was my view and interpretation of the moment.
